On Hope

What is hope? Dictionary.com defines hope as to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence.  There are a great many things that I hope for in my life.  I hope that Stigmare and Emerald City Fashion Week are huge successes.  I hope that my family will one day understand why I chose the path that I am now on.  Most of all I hope that my Lady will allow me back into her heart.

Things are still very tenuous with us, but at least communication is starting to reinitiate.  As brief and high level as it has been I am grateful for it.  I see a great deal of myself in her sometimes.  Both resolute and stubborn, set in our ways, and very uncompromising at times.  Its absolutely adorable to watch in someone other than myself.

We do have some pretty stark differences, but isn't that the spice of life.  I already spend all day with me, I don't need to come home to another me.  The best way to describe it is that we are very Dharma and Greg if you remember that old TV show.  She has opened my eyes to a whole new world and I am grateful for that and look forward to exploring more of it with her if she is willing.

I hope that she is, just the thought of it fills me with such a sense of peace and joy.
